Adult Choir
Led by Music Directory Darryl Drew, the adult choir meets weekly to rehearsal and prepare for the music on Sunday morning. The choir sings a variety of anthems. The choir rehearses on Wednesday nights @ 7:00 p.m. September through June. For more information contact the church office.
Praise Ensemble
Coming soon to First Baptist Church is a Praise Ensemble that will seek to lead us in praise and worship songs.
Team Barnabas
Team Barnabas provides support and care through personal encouragement. The team provides cards, meals, and reaches out the those in the church community who are seeking assistance.
Women's Group: G-Unit
The women of our church meet monthly to fellowship, support one another, and serve the Ballston Spa community. Past events include retreats, dinners, lunches, bible studies, trips, and service projects.
Men's Fellowship
Seasonal meetings, retreats, and fellowship time for men of the congregation.
Maplewood Ministry
On the second Sunday of every month, the Board of Deacons leads a worship service at Maplewood Manor. Opportunities in this ministry are singing, leading in worship, and fellowship with the residents of Maplewood.
Church Softball Team
Plans are under way to form a church softball team in the spring/summer of 2010.
Retreats
An all church one day retreat was held on October 23, 2010.
